Detail Description:
This is an all steel Houseboat that was totally restored in 2004. This restoration included new bottom, new decks, new paint, a complete renovation of cabin and a new 5.7L Mercrusier Engine. The boat is presently owned by Dubuque University and was used as a river research vessel. As such, the inside does not have any furniture other than a full service galley with Hot Point Refrigerator / Freezer and (4) Burner Gas Stove with Oven. The year this boat was manufactured is 1964 but with all the upgrades it shows as a much newer boat. With the 5.7L engine the boat should cruise at 8 MPH and reach a top end of 12MPH. Also, with the single screw it should be much more efficient than similar boats with twin screws. This is a decent boat for the price so call for a showing today.
 
Accommodations:
Entry to the cabin is from storm doors off both the front and aft decks. All windows are regular storm windows with screens and all open to allow a nice breeze throughout the cabin. Since this boat has been used as a research vessel by Dubuque University it is void of furniture. However, it has a nice size salon and full service galley. In addition, this boat has a head with separate shower and a master stateroom with room for a queen size bed.
